RouterPHX(config-router)#network 10.1.32.0 0.0.15.255 area1
RouterPHX(config-router)#network 10.3.0.0 0.0.255.255 area1

Notice the following in the configuration:

  • The process ID on each router does not match. OSPF uses areas to identify sharing of routes, not the process ID.
  • You can use the subnet address with the appropriate wildcard mask (as in 10.1.16.0 0.0.15.255), or you can use the IP address of the router interface with a mask of 0.0.0.0.
  • The network command identifies the subnet, wildcard mask, and the OSPF area of the subnet. A subnet can only be in one area.

Daddy and Mommy

I left my home since December 15, 2006 and came to Singapore. My younger brother also left our house since March 2007 and came to Singapore too. My youngest sister left March 2007 and she is now in the tenth Standard. There's only Daddy and Mommy in my devoted house now. Mom said, she doesn't need to prepare breakfast for us and she doesn't need to ask what we want to eat. Dad and Mom also cannot hear the songs I ever sing with Guitar. They also cannot hear the sound of Korean Drama Series at 7pm. She doesn't need to remind my younger brother to sleep because he forget to sleep when he plays with computer. All the things are disappeared suddenly. Suddenly leaving! I cannot sleep tonight. I'm sure that Dad and Mom sure to know what I'm feeling now. Dropping tears! They always know when we feel somethings. I do love Daddy and Mommy. But Dad and Mom always said " Put the past behind you, before you can move on! " So, I'm going to fight so many tomorrows.

These Five Words

June 7, 2007

What I want to say is "~~ THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME ~~". And whatever I make any mistakes is just because I love you, honey.

Background Intelligent Transfer Service ( BITS )

Start >> Run >> type " services.msc "

Description

Use BITS for applications that need to:

  • Asynchronously transfer files in the foreground or background.
  • Preserve the responsiveness of other network applications.
  • Automatically resume file transfers after network disconnects and computer restarts.
Run-Time Requirements

Let's fun with Idioms 1

Let's start together. Please spend only 10 minutes.

1. For the Birds
They went to a poetry reading, but they got bored and restless. As far as they were concerned, it was for the birds! They left during an intermission because they found the reading totally uninteresting and meaningless.

2. Pull Someone's Leg

Hey, Al. I was invited to be a judge for the Miss America Beauty Pageant!

Oh, really? Come on, you're pulling my leg!

No, honestly. Do you really think that I'm trying to fool you with a ridiculous story?

Well, you've told me foolish stories before.

I can assure you that this one is for real.

3. Play It by Ear

Let's go to the movies, agreed?

Sure. And what'll we do after that ?

Oh, I don't know. Let's play it by ear.

Well, I would like to have a more definite plan of action.

Don't be like that. It's always more fun not knowing what to expect and deciding what to do as we go along.

4. Feel Like a Million Dollars

I bumped into Nick at the salon yesterday. He looked great, but I noticed that he had a slight limp when he walked.

I guess you didn't know that he had an operation on his knee.

No, I didn't. How's he feeling ?

He says he's feeling like a million dollars now. Apparently the pain in his knee is all gone.

It's good that he's feeling so wonderful. It must be a refreshing change not having to put up with all that discomfort.

5. The Early Bird Catches the Worm

Marc, the lines for the rock festival are going to be miles long! If you expect to get tickets for you and Mary, remember that old saying. " The early bird catches the worm. "

I guess you're right. Mary is looking forward to the concert, and I'd hate to disappoint her. I'll get up real early to get a place at the head of the line.

That way I'll get the tickets I want, for sure !

Connection-oriented vs. Connectionless

You should know the following facts about connection-oriented communication:

  • Connection-oriented protocols are reliable. They perform session initiation, error detection, and error correction. They identify and retransmit lost packets.
  • A connection-oriented protocol is a good choice where reliable, error-free communications are more important than speed.
  • The three phases of connection-oriented communication are:
    1. Session initialization (connection establishment),
    2. Session maintenance (data transfer), and
    3. Session termination (connection release).

You should also know the following facts about connectionless communication:

  • Connectionless services assume an existing link between devices and allow transmission without extensive session establishment.
  • Connectionless communications include no error checking or acknowledgement mechanisms.
  • Connectionless communications use no error checking, session establishment, or acknowledgements.
  • Connectionless protocols allow quick, efficient communication. However, data errors and packet loss might occur.

OSI Model

You should be familiar with the OSI model, because it is the most widely used method for talking about network communications. However, remember that it is only a theoretical model that defines standards for programmers and network administrators, not a model of actual physical layers.

Using the OSI model to discuss networking concepts has the following advantages:

  • Provides a common language or reference point between network professionals
  • Divides networking tasks into logical layers for easier comprehension
  • Allows specialization of features at different levels
  • Aids in troubleshooting
  • Promotes standards interoperability between networks and devices
  • Provides modularity in networking features (developers can change features without changing the entire approach)

However, you must remember the following limitations of the OSI model.

  • OSI layers are theoretical and do not actually perform real functions.
  • Industry implementations rarely have a layer-to-layer correspondence with the OSI layers.
  • Different protocols within the stack perform different functions that help send or receive the overall message.
  • A particular protocol implementation may not represent every OSI layer (or may spread across multiple layers).

The Four Burmese Americans

When I search the Burmese Americans in Wikipedia, I found the following four burmese americans. Anyway, I dedicated to the Four Burmese Americans.

1 .Kyaw Kyaw Naing
(born 1964) is a modern Burmese traditional musician who is trying to bring this music to the world stage. He is a master of the pat waing or saing waing, a traditional Burmese drum-circle instrument; the player sits in the middle of a horseshoe-shaped shell made of elaborately carved wood and decorated with gold leaf.

2. Moethee Zun
(born 1962), also known as Moe Thee Zun, has been one of the most prominent leaders for Burmese democratic movement. Mr. Zun is the initiator of the 1988.8.8 movement, which later ignited the June 4th Chinese student movement.

3. Robin Nathalis Chow
(born September 27, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter of Burmese-Chinese descent, sometimes known professionally as Natalise Kalea or simply Natalise. Her first album Forever Now was released in 2003, and her second album I Came to Play was released in 2005. Natalise attended Stanford University and graduated with high-honors in three years with a degree in Communication.

4. Tin Moe, born Maung Ba Gyan
(November 19, 1933 – January 22, 2007), was a Burmese poet.
Tin Moe was born in the village of Kan Mye Zagyan in Taungtha township, Myingyan, Mandalay Division. He received his early education at a Buddhist monastery, and attended the University of Mandalay at the request of faculty members who had been impressed by an essay he wrote. In 1956 he collected his poetry into a book, published in 1959 as Phan Mee Ain (English: The Lantern). He continued to write poems and essays, and worked for a time as the editor of Pay Phoo Lwar magazine. An active supporter of the pro-democracy movement, Tin was was imprisoned in 1991 for 4 years by Burma's military government for his activities. After his release he moved to the United States as an exile and traveled through the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia attending literary events. He died January 22, 2007 in his home in From his home in Los Angeles, California at the age of 73.
